Gulf Coast Sunsets...

These are long exposures (10-30 sec) at about f-8 with about 4 filters on the front of the lens to bring out all the wonderful colors of the sunset...Obviously a tripod was remembered for these shots.

***As a side note...20" wide prints are available of these panoramas...email me for information***

Crystal River (4 I think)

Apparently being an electrical engineer makes one be facinated by power plants...

Waterfall

Although this waterfall is a man-made relic of Rainbow Springs' past, the picture is real an unretouched (except for sizing). I did not know this existed when I went to the park and when I saw it I knew it deserved a long exposure for that wonderful rushing water effect...so...I layed my camera down on the hadrail and used its self timer while praying that no passer-bys knocked it off. Result was worth taking the time to setup the shot!

Pelican

This pelican very nicely flew down and posed for this photo.

Wierd Signs...

Not sure what all this sign actually says...All I can understand from it is that I can get some semblance of food and they will take as much money as I want to give to them.

What's with the ":" before the phone number?

Hardware

Skimmer

This looks like a miniature version of what is used to clean up an oil spill. Interesting reflections too.

Tower

Although this is in Steelton...It kinda resembles a distilling tower for oil refining.

Round Vs. Square

I guess if the congregation can't agree on what shape and color scheme to use...Be safe and pick both.
